5. Google Room 98



Project DescriptionAs the pandemic accelerated the shift to cloud services and remote work, many companies found themselves unprepared to lead through the change. Google saw an opportunity to guide them through it. Partnering with Google, we designed Forward Lab: an immersive workshop and workbook Google would use to walk C-suite executives from other organizations through digital transformation, turning abstract strategy into a hands-on experience.

My Role
I led editorial and data visualization design for the workbook and helped shape the framework the workshop was built on. Alongside an embedded client team, I researched what makes a space genuinely immersive, drawing on references from Disneyland to sound baths to inform the physical environment. Working with a composer on a soundtrack to accompany the experience and offered a hand pressed vinyl as a gift.

Main Workbook: the through-line of the workshop, guiding attendees through each session while giving them space to reflect and engage hands-on.
A 60 minute soundtrack for Google’s Room 98 workshop in Los Angeles. 
Divided in to three 20 minute chapters, the composition aims to reflect the themes covered in the workshop and take attendees on a reflective journey.
